Music schools and K-12 schools often need cello teachers. Leads will be announced here. If you are looking to fill a position for a cello teachers please contact us to be listed on this page and have your opening be shared with cello teachers.

If there are no openings listed here, you are encouraged to send your resume to music schools or school districts directly by contacting the owner or Fine Arts director. You may also want to reach out to nearby public and private school orchestra directors to let them know your availability. If you are wanting to build your private studio please contact us if you are not already on our teacher list.

Austin Soundwaves is hiring string Teaching Artists (Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass) to teach sectionals and private lessons at Austin area middle and high schools. Hourly pay starts at $30 per hour.
