Ages: up to 18+ concerto level; 6–14, Suzuki Book 2+ level

Overview:
Two camp options: Young Artist Division and Rising Stars.
Online classes will include private lessons, music theory, orchestra, music history and more.
Texas State University String Camp- San Marcos
Dates: June 19-25, 2022
Ages: 13-18
Overview:
Camp will be held in person this year following Texas State health safety guidelines. Check their website for further details. Students participate in orchestra and chamber ensembles, string sectionals and electives. There is also an option for private lessons and an All State Etude Clinic for high school students.
Baylor University Summer Middle School Orchestra Camp
Dates: June 19-25, 2022
Ages: Students entering grades 7–9
Overview:
Orchestra, sectionals, group lessons and more. The decision to be online or in-person will be made soon as of 3/10. Check their website for updates.
Dolce Music Studio Summer Chamber Music Intensive
Dates: Four one-week options through June and July
Ages: Intermediate to Advanced
Application Deadline: May 1 for June dates; June 1 for July dates
Overview:
In-person chamber music with coaching for two hours daily from Monday-Friday and a performance on Saturday. Opportunities for string quartets or piano ensembles.
Austin Soundwaves Summer Music Camp
Dates: July 18 – July 22, 2022
Ages: Beginner to Intermediate youth
Overview:
A half day camp with two programs. Headstart Program is for beginning string players up to 1 year playing experience. Academy Program is for intermediate students with a year or more playing experience. Students will learn some new diverse music, explore musicianship skills like improvisation and composition, and get a chance to see some unique enrichment demonstrations.
Greater Austin Suzuki Institute

Ages: Pre-Twinkle to Advanced literature
Overview:
Classes following in the Suzuki tradition. Students will have masterclass lessons, repertoire classes, electives and more. There are opportunities for parents to learn and engage in discussions. Suzuki Institutes offer many opportunities for learning and sharing for all stages of learning.
