High School Band and Orchestra Camp at Baylor University
Dates: June 08-14, 2025
Grades: entering grades 9-12 for band students and entering grades 10–12 for strings

Middle School Band and Orchestra Camp at Baylor University
Dates: June 15-21, 2025

Texas State University String Camp- San Marcos
Dates: June 15-20, 2025
Ages: 12-18
Overview:
Students participate in orchestra and chamber ensembles, string sectionals and fun musical electives. There is also an option for private lessons and an All State Etude Clinic for high school students. An All-State Clinic is also offered for high school students. Austin Soundwaves Summer Music Camp
Dates: Four one-week options through June at Huston-Tillotson University
Ages: the four camps have options for students age 7-19
Overview:
Four programs are available. Two separate "Explore and Create Camps" are happening for children ages 7-11 (June 16-20, 2025 and June 9-13, 2025). Campers get to explore the fun of music with no prior instrument or singing experience.
The "Play and Progress Camp" is for students age 10-12 with 1 year playing experience (June 16-20, 2025). The "Level Up and Lead Camp" is for students age 11-19 with more experience playing in their school orchestra (June 23-27, 2025). Students will learn diverse music in orchestra, explore musicianship skills like improvisation, conducting, and recording.

Ages: 7–10 Primary Division; 11–18 Young Artists Division, 18+ Adult Division

Greater Austin Suzuki Institute

Overview:
Classes follow in the Suzuki tradition. Students will have masterclass lessons, repertoire classes, electives and more. There are opportunities for parents to learn and engage in discussions. Suzuki Institutes offer many opportunities for learning and sharing for all stages of learning.

Grades: Three programs for exceptional young musicians ages 10 through college and post-graduate level
Application Deadline: Early decision: March 1, Regular decision after March 1
Overview:
A program for exceptional young cellists to get to work with world-renowned faculty. Classes include technique class, master classes, performance classes and cello choir.
Dolce Music Studio Summer Chamber Music Intensive
Dates: Four one-week options through June and July
Ages: Intermediate to Advanced - need teacher referral
Application Deadline: May 5 for June dates; June 2 for July dates
Overview:
Chamber music with coaching for three hours daily from Monday-Friday and a performance on Saturday. Opportunities for string quartets or piano ensembles.
Texas Strings Festival and Camp - Austin
Dates: typically early to mid-June
Ages: 6-20
Audition/Application Deadline: to be announced
Overview:
Three camp options: Young Artist Division (Suzuki book 1-4 level); Emerging Artist Division (Suzuki book 5-7 level); Rising Stars (Suzuki book 7+).
Classes will include string orchestra chamber groups, private lessons, masterclasses, choir and ear training, and more.
